Walking Treasurer Hunt - 11 to 19 June 2022

In a change to the traditional evening Hunt, this year you will have a whole week to search out the answers to our challenging questions.  Walk around Stone as often as you need to spot the features you may never have noticed before.

Enter as a family, or group of friends, at £10 for each entry.  The entry with the most correct answers get the prize. You will be able to pay the entry fee and download your question sheet, on-line from 11th June – and we need your answers by the end of Sunday 19th June.

Historic Talk - Thursday 16 June 2022

Shaun Farrelly, of the Stone Historical and Civic Society, will deliver an illustrated talk entitled: “The Yarnfield Camps – from General Infantrymen to General Post Office” It is 80 years ago that the American Service personnel came to Yarnfield prior to be sent overseas to join the war. Later the buildings they used in Yarnfield became the Post Office Training Centre. Historic Talk

Held at 7:30pm on Thursday 16 June 2022, in the Stone Station Community Centre. There will be no charge for admission, but there will be a bucket collection.

Comedy, Comedy, Comedy at The Crown Wharf - Friday 17 June 2022

Come and join us for some Friday night laughs upstairs in the Crown Wharf Boardroom for The Crown Wharf Theatre comedy night. All profits will go towards supporting The Crown Wharf Theatre project; the charity bringing a brand new theatre and events space to the town.
