Carnival day is centred on
Westbridge Park. The parade which features many local social
groups and organisations proceeds from Oulton Road through the town
centre and on to the park.
Make sure you are there on time - you are bound to see many friends and
relatives, even the odd one who doesn't mind making a fool of themselves
in aid of the many good causes on offer - please be kind!!
In the park the fun fair will be going strong. Plus - Back by popular demand - the chance to see Stone as you may
have never seen it before -
From a helicopter!
Miss Carnival day and you miss all
that is good about being in Stone

The Carnival
starts here....

World and over 20 British Championship titles between the team
members you will see some of the most impressive tricks, jumps and
stunts possible many of which you would not think possible on a

Throughout the day when not in the arena they will be running a Safe

That includes children.
They provide all of the equipment including helmets. So come along
and see what you can do!

Helicopter Rides Over Stone |
|
Flying
from the lower football field Stone Festival's helicopter rides over
the town and surrounding area proved to be a huge hit last year.
Did you manage to get a ride last year? If not it comes highly
recommended and if you are really serious about taking advantage of
this opportunity don't delay, as they say, book today! Either
pre-book using the form
here and drop it into Home and Colour in Stone High Street or
just turn up on the day. However by booking in advance you save £5 -
i.e. £30 rather than £35 on the day. Remember if you pre book you are
assured of a ride approximately at the time you want to be
airborne. The helicopter will be flying from around 11:00am
until late in the afternoon.
If you haven't booked - don't worry. Our experience from last
year has shown that sometimes people who have booked and paid don't
always take up their seats and the organisers, Sky Charter UK, have
told us its not all that unusual for people to decide against flying
at the last moment, so throughout the day seats may become
available.

The
Smiley Train....
The
Smiley Train will be giving children of all ages rides around the
park for a modest fare. This proved to be a hugely successful
attraction last year so we can genuinely say he's back by popular
demand. |
Warwick's Funfair....
Stone
Festival just wouldn't be complete without a visit from Warwick's
Funfair and they will be open in Westbridge Park from Wednesday 8th
June with cut price rides through until Carnival Saturday 11th June.
As usual there's lots of rides with the younger visitor in mind, so
just when those tots are showing signs of getting bored you know
where to head to. |
